Create and develop the Go For Good movement for more responsible fashion

CONTEXT

Go For Good is the response of a retailer which, at the instigation of UTOPIES, has chosen to take its CSR strategy a step further by making it a core part of its offering and involving all its stakeholders on a large scale.

MISSION

Go For Good is first and foremost an exercise in curating and promoting responsible offers within the Galeries Lafayette assortment.

UTOPIES co-initiated the process, and provided support in :

  • Defining the initial strategy;
  • Make recommendations on the name, in-store language and web communication for the operation.
RESULTS

With Stella McCartney as godmother, an unprecedented first national operation was held in all Galeries Lafayette stores from August 28 to October 10, 2018, benefiting from both extensive press coverage and strong internal mobilization.

The “creative and committed movement for more responsible fashion” was launched and has since been perpetuated in the Galeries Lafayette network’s permanent offering.

Today, Go for Good brings together almost 400 brands and 10,000 items in store and online.
